Refund & Return Policy

Effective Date: 1 April 2026

 

This Refund & Return Policy applies to all services purchased through Revolution Education and Consultancy (REC), operating at rec-bd.com. By making a payment through our website, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.

 

1. Nature of Our Services

REC provides one-time professional consulting and education advisory services including but not limited to study abroad guidance, university application assistance, and visa consultancy. As these are professional services delivered by qualified consultants, the refund terms differ from physical product returns.

 

2. Refund Eligibility

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 (seven) calendar days of the payment date.

  • Refunds will only be considered if the agreed service has not yet commenced.

  • Once a consultation session has been conducted, no refund will be applicable for that service.

  • Once documentation work has begun, no refund will be applicable for that service.

  • Application fees, university registration fees, or any third-party fees paid on behalf of the client are non-refundable once submitted.

 

3. Refund Timeline

Standard Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to the original payment method

within 7 to 10 (seven to ten) working days from the date of refund approval.

 

Working days exclude Fridays, Saturdays, and Bangladesh public holidays.

The exact credit date may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

 

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email your refund request to: info@rec-bd.com

  2. Subject line: ‘Refund Request – [Your Full Name] – [Date of Payment]’

  3. Include: your full name, contact number, service purchased, payment date, and reason for refund

  4. Our team will review your request and respond within 2 working days

  5. If approved, the refund will be initiated and credited within 7-10 working days

 

5. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel a scheduled consultation session at no charge if you give at least 24 hours advance notice.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session will be treated as a completed service and are non-refundable.

  • Package or retainer cancellations will be prorated based on services already delivered.

 

6. Non-Refundable Items

  • Government fees, embassy fees, or visa application charges

  • University application or registration fees paid to third-party institutions

  • IELTS or other test registration fees

  • Services already fully rendered

 

7. Payment Gateway

All online payments are processed securely through SSLCommerz. REC does not store your card or payment details.
